Dons will use different symbols for different things.  From what could be deciphered, it appears that dons will use one or two of these symbols combined when spelling out a specific word. This is very irregular however, as most of Kreek will focus on a general description of the subject rather than specifics.

Above are some examples of the more frequently created runes in Kreekich. Runes are usually written either vertically, or horizontally- but when reading Kreek it's important to bare in mind that dons will write in any direction/orientation. If something seems out of place, try reading them in a different direction.
Most dons cannot write Kreek, but most pouchers are taught how to read it from a young age to aid in hunting and navigating. Therefore, it heavily depends on the attitude of the individual pack as to how 'literate' the members are- and how much they chronical. Some packs have a diverse alphabet, walls of scriptures that detail the history of their ancestors, mythical stories and all sorts- where others may only use one or two runes to dictate food and enemies.

Kreekich words can be ever so slightly compared to the English descriptions of subjects. For Example, a mammoth wouldn't be spelt 'M A M M O T H' in Kreek, it would be a description of the animal (Sex, Size/Strength [usually defined as alpha, beta or charlie]) and then 'Tusk' (usually TSK)- which explains a large animal with tusks. Dons will decide whether it is worth taking into account what is written (if they can read them).

Alladons don't write like a typical civilised species does. Whilst we have deciphered the closest symbols we could to an 'alphabet', it's important to remember that each territory of dons will have their own runes, their own language and their own ways of communicating. A lot of territories will follow 'Kreekich'- one of the oldest and most widely used rune systems in the species.

Kreekich is most often used to help inform readers what is in the area. Dons will use moss growth on trees to establish a semi-accurate northerly direction and will create maps depending on their knowledge. As these act as essential compass' for dons trying to find their way home/prey it is extremely rare that they will be defaced. Unless the information is no longer accurate (i.e a 'Home Map' for a pack who had been eliminated).

A vast majority of Kreekich is only used for navigation. The centre of the map marks where that alladon is when the map was written, and the symbol explains the context of the map. Each map will contain up to 8 branches depending on how much information the map is showing. Complexity also depends on how much the map intends to tell. Some are more informative than others.

Pack Descriptior.png

Some packs will write warnings of their pack integrity around the immediate area to warn off rival groups or nomads.

"Our pack is very strong, headed by one alpha female and two beta males."

"From this exact location, there is very good hunting grounds to the North and the North East, most likely full of deer. East and West are thick with forests and South West contains more forest lands and a river. South and South East have dangerous alladons along these paths- most likely a rival pack. This is however not enemy territory."

Territory Map Ex.png

"With the home cave at the middle, travelling north will lead you towards a birthing area away from the home cave. To the East, the grounds contain sparce prey and forests, though caution should be taken around the river and beyond, as the North, East and Southern points of that area is enemy territory.
However, going South East is good, fertile territory.

This map requires more information."

This is a territory map- which is something a pack would use to educate their packmates regarding the whereabouts of other navi maps in the territory. These will usually be created and kept at the home cave- and vioently protected from rival packs as these maps will often contain the secret places fhearr's will be birthing.
